GeoTrax was a very successful train & transportation system that Fisher-Price produced from 2002-2010. I led design and content development for the first six years of development.

Geotrax was really successful for a few specific reasons. First, the kid-control remote engines were incredibly empowering to a preschool aged children. The second was the super durable, easy to assemble track. The third were all of the “put and take” destinations around the system that encouraged play situations.

My design team worked closely with retail partners domestically and internationally to create a big presence for GeoTrax on store shelves. We created “try-me” shelf units for Toys-R-Us, child appropriate “play displays” and palette programs with other retail partners around the world.
